Data is not generally disclosed outside of Joensuu’s Elli. However, in cases of suspected crimes, data may be disclosed to the police.

9. Principles of Register Protection
Data contained in the electronically processed register is protected using firewalls, passwords, and other generally accepted technical measures in the field of information security. Manual records are kept in premises inaccessible to unauthorized personnel.
Access to the data contained in the register is granted only to designated employees of the data controller and those acting on its behalf, who have signed confidentiality agreements, and they are granted individual access rights by the data controller.
